If you have any questions about technical info please feel free to contact me anytime. I also encourage you to join up on the CamTrapper forum http://camtrapper.com/index.php as it is a great place to post questions about home made trail cameras, technical info, and just to share photos with fellow camera trappers.

Why
use Trail Mode™?
Trail Mode™ is the perfect feature for a Trail Camera setup over a "trail". The idea of a "trail camera" is to capture all of the animals traveling down a trail together, and not just the first animal. As most of us know after spending hours in the woods watching deer from a tree stand for example many deer travel in groups. Whether this be a doe with several fawns in the spring, bachelor groups of bucks in the summer, mature buck following doe in the fall rut season, or deer herded up in the winter.

Battery
Power is probably the single most important aspect
of a trail camera…without proper power; you
basically don’t have a functioning camera.
Here at Monarch Images battery testing is an on going mission to determine the best combination for the user, camera and operating temperature.

Flash Test
I’ve always tried, just by comparing images, to figure out which of the three scouting cameras (P32, P41 and S40) have the strongest flash. It's really difficult, especially when the cameras are set in different locations causing so many other factors to come into play such as flash absorbtion and unknown animal distances.
